This article describes the contents of SnapHire version 10.8.0. This version is available for general release from 14th December 2023.

Improvements

This version includes the following improvements:


  • Added in support for SMTP authentication, which will give clients the option to use their own mail server to send emails from SnapHire
  • Improved the validation of "Web page URL's" on the candidate registration/application form
  • Made improvements to the loading time within the image gallery
  • Added further validation and error messaging when trying to upload a non-image file to the image gallery
  • Implemented a new native "Edit candidate details" page on the recruiter site to allow users to edit candidate details more effectively
  • Added additional validation and error messaging for category images when incorrect file types are trying to be uploaded
  • It is now possible to remove any task from a user’s dashboard to help them better maintain their list
  • Updated the icons for the top navigation bar and added this to every page within the recruiter site (previously only available while on the dashboard tab). The new search functionality will now be consistent across all of tabs.
  • Updated and combined the support and log ticket buttons, which is visible to users who have the "Log ticket to Aotal Client Portal from within SnapHire" permission

General bug fixing

This version corrects defects introduced in previous versions of SnapHire:


  • Tasks on the dashboard could get stuck if the action had been inactivated before the task had been cleared or completed. These will no longer display by default going forward.
  • Fixed an issue with being not able to clear date fields in certain places in the system
