Overview

This article describes the contents of SnapHire version 10.7.0. This version is available for general release from 15th September 2023.

Details

This release includes:

  1. Improvements
  2. General bug fixing

Improvements

This version includes the following improvements:

  • Users who have the permission "Can manage staffing agencies" will now have access to the new "Manage agencies" area of the Configuration hub.
  • Advertising tracking codes are now available as a self-service option in the Configuration hub for users who have the "Manage advertising tracking codes" permission. This will allow users to create, inactivate and edit advertising tracking codes at any time
  • When a candidate is hired against a child job, their application becomes hidden on the parent job. The application history panel states that the pipeline application is ”hidden because hire in “[job title]”. This now includes the job code as well to make it easier to find the correct job.
  • We have updated the account section (accessed under the logged-in users name in the top right-hand corner) to make it more user-friendly. This is where users can update their email address, name, default job saved search, signature, timezone as well as add a profile picture for the account, which in future builds will appear in certain lists/drop-downs within the system.
  • Updated the wrapping on value sets so that they no longer span the entire page or overlap menus etc.
  • We have updated all of the raise action screens within SnapHire. We are soft-launching this change which means the functionality will not be immediately available on your site
  • Introduced a new set of automated testing to run as part of our release process

General bug fixing

This version corrects defects introduced in previous versions of SnapHire:

  • Mandatory category-type questions in job seeker raisable actions were showing an error incorrectly
  • The "New candidate" option under the create menu was not working on the new dashboard tab
  • Older, default images in the image gallery that were being used on jobs could throw a 500 error when trying to delete the image
  • Some of the newer self-service permissions (Can manage categories and Can manage image gallery) would not give access to the "Admin" tab without also having other admin permissions. This has been changed so that any combination of this will give "Admin" tab access
