Details

This release includes:

  • Improvements
  • General bug fixing

Improvements

This version includes the following improvements:

  • Introduced a new notification system within SnapHire to allow us to send out real-time updates directly to users. This will only be available from the dashboard tab to begin with
  • The Marketplace tab has now been updated to make it more seamless, as well as improve on the search functionality
  • Added in a site-wide setting to toggle whether candidate "title" and/or "preferred name" is displayed to users (this is managed by our Client Success team, so please get in touch if you would like that setting changed for your site)
  • Introduced image gallery self-service functionality that will allow users to manage their own image gallery. Admin users will be able to assign the new permission "Can manage image gallery" to themselves and/or other recruiters
  • Updated the order of applications for candidates signed into their profiles on the careers site to show the most recent applications first
  • Updated the order of tasks on the new dashboard to now display by due date. Overdue tasks will now display the number of days overdue rather than the actual due date to make it easier to read.
  • Improved the reordering tool within the "Manage categories" screens to make moving and re-ordering category values clearer to users
  • Added an additional section "Position" to individual values within the "Manage categories" screens to make it easier to move values in long lists, as well as the ability to add/edit images associated with that value
  • Reworded the message on the V10 startup message after a site restart to better reflect what is happening

General bug fixing

This version corrects defects introduced in previous versions of SnapHire:

  • A job with no associated recruiter was causing a minor visual issue on the job details page
  • Trying to expand a category box size within the job wizard could cause the category to be hidden until the tab was refreshed
  • Additional managers on jobs were not being pulled through correctly when using templates or the copy job option
  • Application summary on the careers site for logged-in candidates was no longer showing once a job was set to "not-visible"
  • Some menu items that are controlled by permission were missing from the new dashboard menu
