Overview

This article explains the steps for installing the 'Government Jobs NZ' App.


Let's get started

  1. Go to the Talent App Store, www.talentappstore.com and sign in to your account.

  2. Search or browse for the Government Jobs NZ App.

  3. Open the Government Jobs NZ App and click the 'Install' button on the top right of the App and confirm by clicking the 'Ok' button.


  4. After the App has completed installation, please review the app for further setup requirements. There will be a red button saying 'SETUP REQUIRED'. 

  5. Open the app and click on the 'SETUP REQUIRED' button

  6. This should launch further setup requirements and will ask for you to enter your Government Jobs NZ Advertiser profile, 'Save' to complete your setup.


  7. Each profile on this page will correspond with an account and brand configured with Government Jobs NZ. After adding a profile, a Feed Url will be displayed. Contact Government Jobs NZ with this url. When your account has been successfully set up or an existing account has been linked, job postings will then be able to be done directly via SnapHire.


  8. Government Jobs NZ will then access this job feed on a regular basis (twice daily) and update the jobs.govt.nz site based on the job ads contained within the feed. The daily upload time will be published once the web service is complete.

  9. Once the “Feed url” has been successfully accessed, the ‘Please contact government jobs…’ message will be replaced by a message saying ‘Feed last accessed at…’ with the time the feed was last accessed.

  10. Once the setup has been completed, go back to the 'Talent App Store' and ‘Reboot’ your tenant.
