Overview

This article explains the steps for using and configuring the 'Assessment Hub' within SnapHire.

Create an Assessment Hub view

Each assessment app or assessment type may require specific information to be sent from SnapHire to be used successfully. If your selected app requires additional information from the default view you will need to create a specific Assessment Hub view for this app.

  • You will need to be granted the permission “Can manage Assessment Hub views”. This permission will allow access to the Admin tab in SnapHire.

You can edit, copy or add a new Assessment Hub view specifically for a selected assessment type.

To manage your Assessment Hub views:

  1. Go to the Admin tab and select the 'Manage Assessment Hub views' option.

  2. Select 'Add view' to add a new view.
  3. Select 'Edit' to make changes.
  4. Select 'Copy' to copy an existing view.
  5. Search or select the fields you want.

  6. Click 'Ok'.
  7. Apply your Assessment Hub view to each assessment type in the Assessment Hub Manage assessments screen.

Making the Assessment Hub Visible

  1. When your assessments have been configured, your users will be able to see the 'Assessment Hub strip' in either the job seeker list view or from the job seeker application details screen (NB: The Assessment Hub strip display on the application details screen is only available from SnapHire version 8480).
The "Assessment Hub strip' will be displayed automatically on the job seeker application details.
  2. To add visibility of the 'Assessment Hub strip' to your job seeker list view, you will need to add this to your bucket view.
  • You will need to be granted the permission “Can manage bucket views”. This permission will allow access to the Admin tab in SnapHire.

Manage Bucket Views

You can edit, copy or add a new bucket view specifically for a selected bucket and workflow.

To manage your bucket views:

  1. Go to the Admin tab and select the 'Manage bucket views' option.

  2. Check the 'Map' to see where the bucket view is used and on which workflows.
  3. Select the bucket view you want, and click 'Edit' to make changes.

  5. If you have created a new view, you will need to complete the mapping for the applicable workflow and buckets.
  • The 'Assessment Hub strip' will now be visible in the bucket it has been mapped to and will be ready for use.

  • The app border will change with a different color border as it moves through the various stages and some icons may change upon completion.

  • When as assessment has been completed you will be displayed a result and or link to a result (depending on the app and assessment requested).

Mapping the Assessment Hub 'by job' in SnapHire

Assessments can be custom mapped by job.

  1. Select your job and go to Job Details screen.
  2. If your site has the 'Assessment Hub' installed you will see the 'Assessment Hub' widget on the right of the job details screen.
    • When there are no default assessments mapped for your job’s workflow, your widget will not show any assessments. To add assessments, click 'Edit' to map assessments.

    • When default Assessments are mapped for your job’s workflow, the widget will show the 'Default Assessments mapped'. To mapping for your job click 'Edit'.

    • When Assessments are customized for your job, the widget will show the 'Custom Assessments mapped'. To customize or restore default assessment mapping for your job click 'Edit'.

  3. To customize the assessments for a specific job, select any of the following ways;

    1. By clicking on the … next to the bucket to add or remove an assessment to a bucket. Drag and drop the assessments as required and click 'Save'.

    2. By clicking on an individual assessment in a bucket and changing the assessment settings. 'Edit' the settings and click 'Save'.

    3. By clicking on the bucket and changing the assessment settings for one or multiple assessments

  4. Click 'Save' to apply the changes.
  5. If you make a mistake or want to restore the job to default, click on 'Restore default mappings'.
  6. Close this screen and return to your job, you will need to refresh the screen to see your changes.
  7. If the user clicks on a bucket link where no assessments are mapped; the Screen will display a message 'It would appear that no assessments have been added to this bucket.'
  8. When a user clicks on a bucket where there are default workflow mappings, the Screen will display the default matrix of these assessments.
  9. If a user clicks on a bucket where there are customized mappings, the Screen will display the customized matrix of these assessments.
  10. If the user edits any of these settings, the settings would then be considered 'Customized'.

NB: Please note that if an assessment is added to a bucket where the 'Assessment Hub strip' is not visible in the bucket view, this will need to be requested via an administrator.
