Overview

This article explains the steps for using the Assessment Hub after it has been installed.


Before you Begin

Before configuring your assessments, please ensure you have thought about the defaults before you start to map assessments to any workflows or buckets. You may like to try this out before configuring your whole site.

  • Which workflows will your assessment be available on
    A conversation may be required with your ATS provider to determine if your set up will fit your assessment requirements,
  • Consider which buckets your assessment will be available in (Assessment apps and any progress or results will only be available in buckets where they are mapped to),
  • Who will the assessment be required for – Internal or External candidates or both,
  • Who will be able to start and or view the assessment – Recruiter or Manager,
  • Will the assessment be auto started (recommend caution as an assessment default),
  • Is the assessment result able to be reused across applications and how long would the result be applicable for (this is dependent on if the app provider determining if the assessment can be 'reusable'),
  • Is there any specific information that needs to be sent to the app provider? You will need to create specific Assessment Hub views if specific information is required for your app.


Configuration Steps

  1. Open the 'Assessment Hub' from the 'Talent App Store' and you will be taken to the 'Manage assessments' screen where you can see your available assessment apps.


  2. Click on the assessment link in the assessment column to configure the settings.


  3. Click 'Edit' to make changes.
  4. Click 'Save' to apply the changes.
  5. Ensure you have created or applied any specific view you have created for your assessment.

Once you have set the defaults for your assessment, you will then be able to proceed to Map your assessments. 


Map Assessments for Workflow

You can map assessments by workflow and set default settings to apply every time a job is created on that workflow.

  1. Open the 'Assessment Hub' from the 'Talent App Store' and you will be taken to the 'Manage assessments' screen where you can see your available assessment apps.
  2. Click on the top right menu option 'Map assessments'.
  3. Select the workflow you want to map from the drop down list.


  4. Choose the bucket you want to configure the assessment for and click on the 3 little dots '…' next to that bucket name.


  5. Drag and drop the assessments into the dotted area at the top of the screen to add.


  6. To change the settings for the assessment, click on the assessment in the bucket you want to edit.


  7. To change multiple assessments, you can click on the bucket name on the left to change these all at once for that bucket.




  8. Ensure 'Assessment Hub' is visible in your ATS.


Use with your existing system(s)

Depending on your ATS you will have different configurations on how to set this up.
