Overview

After a job has been marked as 'Waiting for Approval' the Job Approval widget is available on the job details view.


Viewing the widget

The job approval widget appears on the right-hand side of the job details view.  It shows the people involved in the approval chain and the status of the job approval process:



Using the widget

Users with the permission 'Can create and start job approval' can use the links available on the job approval widget to:

  • Send a reminder to an Approver
  • Answer on behalf of an Approver (typically where you have had a discussion with them)
  • Add user or Remove user to/from the chain


Users with the permission 'Can override job approval' can also:

  • Interrupt the approval process and choose to 'Approve this job now' or 'Disapprove this job now'
