About SEEK Job Posting

Post a new job advertisement in seconds and have it instantly go live on SEEK, allowing candidates to search and apply for your roles straight away. Once your job is posted, manage your advertisements and edit or delete jobs immediately.


Recruiters will have the option to manage multiple brands from one account and create custom templates for each, allowing your organization to maximise its brand presence and customize the experience for candidates.


Setting up Advertisers for your organisation


  1. Open the SEEK Job Posting app from your apps tab or Talent App Store.



  1. The home screen will display current SEEK Advertiser Profiles where you will be able to edit and delete advertisers.

  2. To add a new advertiser, click ‘Add new profile’.

  3. Fill in the required fields.


NB: Your advertiser will not be individual recruiters but instead your company name (e.g. Acme).


  1. If you want all advertisements to be automatically posted in Standout format, check the ‘Standout Only’ checkbox.



  1. Click ‘OK’ to add them to the list of SEEK Advertisers


Tip: To get your advertiser ID you will need to contact SEEK.


Setting up a template


  1. Click into the Advertiser profile you want to create a template for.

  2. On the sidebar panel click ‘Manage templates”.

  3. Click the ‘Add new template’ button and choose a name for your template.

  4. You will need to get your template ID’s from SEEK. 

  5. Click on template name to add template details.


Setting up a logo


  1. Click into the Advertiser profile you want to create a template for.

  2. On the sidebar panel click ‘Manage logos”.

  3. Click the ‘Add new logo’ button and choose a name for your logo.

  4. You will need to get your logo ID from SEEK. 


Manage screens (Screening questions)


  1. Click into the Advertiser profile you want to create a template for.

  2. On the sidebar panel click ‘Manage Screens”.

  3. Click the ‘Add new screen’ button and choose a name for your screen.

  4. You will need to get your screen ID from SEEK. 


Posting a Job to SEEK


From your ATS.

  1. Setup your job as you usually would.

  2. Once finished, navigate to the overview page for that particular job.

  3. On the SEEK widget, click ‘Post Job to SEEK’.



  1. Fill in all mandatory fields, and provide any additional information about your advertisement.

  2. At the bottom of the page click ‘Post job to seek’.



From the SEEK app.

You can either fill in the Job Posting form from the ‘Jobs I can post’ page.


OR


If you have the SEEK app linked to an ATS you can navigate to ‘Jobs I can Post’ which will show a list of jobs from your ATS that are able to be posted.



Editing and expiring jobs on SEEK.


From your ATS.

  1. Navigate back to the job page.

  2. Refresh the SEEK widget.

    1. Clicking edit will take you back into the SEEK advertisement fields where you can update your advertisement.

    2. Clicking expire will remove your advertisement from SEEK. You will be able to repost the job after it has been expired if you change your mind.


From the SEEK app.

  1. From the SEEK Advertiser Profiles page, click into an advertiser’s profile.

  2. You will be able to see a list of past and present advertisements that the profile has posted.

  3. Under the actions column, you will be able to edit and expire jobs as above.
